To contribute your thoughts and memories of Dad (Doc Goodie) to my online memorial to him (URL below), e-mail Denise at:

with permission to use them. If you don't want them used, but want to send them to me, that's okay, too. Just let me know. I'll pass them along to our family. Thank you all again.

Thanks to all who came to the viewings and/or funeral, and for the kind thoughts and memories expressed, including those in this questbook. The family, especially my mother, are so grateful to you all.

I'm working on an online memorial to my dad (URL below) and welcome any thoughts and memories that could be e-mailed to me, already expressed or otherwise. Although we miss dad trememdously, which is itself a gift, the Lord has been gracious and we are at peace.

I just wanted to extend my condolences for your loss. I knew Doc Goodie from the time I started working at Lakeview in 1976. I enjoyed seeing him when he would come into the Radiology department after his retirement. He was a real sweatie and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We called him "Doc Goodie"..
An OB/GYN MD
With skills of a master
Wit and wisdom had he.

In good times and bad
He tackled the job
And eased all the fears
Of his feminine mob.

He made pregnancy fun...
(Though not a pleasure)
Delivered three kids
We always shall treasure.

We expected a baby
But found in the end
We had also been blessed
With a 'forever' friend.

In this path of life
How lucky we've been
For a few brief moments
To rub shoulders with him.

So we'll patient-ly wait
To see him again
Till Mae cheerfully calls,
"Yes, the doctor is in!"

With our deep and heartfelt sympathy, Taunie & Tom McLachlan

Sincere sympathy to the Family of Dr.Gudy. I worked with him, as an RN, for fourteen years in Labor and Delivery at Lakeview Hospital. He was always very kind and caring about his patients and loved being a Doctor delivering babies! His dedication and great sense of humor added much to all our lives. We'll miss him.

Denise, I am so sorry to hear about your father. I remember meeting him during our symphony/choir days. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember you and Lois with great affection from our Viewmont days. God Bless, love Judy (Barton) Hales.
