"Lou" Mitchell
1932-2010
Luana J. Trease Mitchell returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday January 8, 2010. Born to Charles G. and Nellie Jean Hendricks Cluff on May 27, 1932 in Provo Utah. Graduated from West High School. Married Arthur Lee Trease in 1963 later divorced. Married James C. Mitchell in 1982 and later divorced. Member of the LDS Church. Lou was a life time member of the Salt Lake City Motorcycle Club and had a passion for riding her Harley Davidson. Lou was also a professional dance teacher who taught over 500 students as well as a performer herself. She was also a professional hairstylist for most of her life.
Proceeded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and a son-in-law. Survived by her son Stephen D. Trease (Rosalind), Daughters, Robin Trease Mirbahaeddin and Holly J.Taylor (Doug). Bernice Cluff (stepmother), whom Lou adored. Sisters; Sue (Jay) Brown, Joy (Joe) Larsen, Nancy (Courtney) Obray. Brother; Bob (Karma) Cluff. 10 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren.
Grandma "Lou", we will miss you and you will be in our hearts forever! A special thanks to the staff of Orchard Cove for their special care and support.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00am at the Hunter 8th Ward, 2811 South 6400 West, WVC UT. Friends may call prior to service, 9:30 -10:30 am. Viewing on Thursday night from 6-8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200 E. SLC. Internment at Elysian Gardens 1075 E. 4580 So. Murray, UT. Online guest book available at www.russonmortuary.com
