Travis R Bastian, age 28, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and buddy to all. Travis was born on June 22, 1978 in Ogden, UT to Rick and KayeLynn Bastian. On July 22, 2006 Travis passed away in a tragic car accident along with his little Desi on their way home from a family trip to Lake Powell. Travis was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1996 where he excelled in golf and tennis. After high school Travis served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Houston South Spanish speaking mission. Upon returning from his mission Travis graduated from Southern Utah University with a BA in Communications. Upon graduating from college Travis began a career in sales and marketing and is employed with KJZZ. Travis is a member of the University 43rd Ward in Salt Lake. Travis is known for working hard, playing hard, loving every minute of life, finding someone to tease and making people wait. In his car at the time of the accident were his golf clubs, basketball, softball mitt, football and volleyball. His beautiful body loved sports and he excelled at everything he played. We will all miss his bright smiling face. He is now returning home with honor!
